Wilson lake Carter branch
Yesterday I fished Carter branch on Wilson. Beautiful day water temp was 85. I drug crank baits up and around with no luck. Then I tried some docks with a jig. No crappie but I did find a big tree with some leftover willow flies and was able to catch several nice bluegill. My original plan was to paddle out to a huge underwater hump on the main river but the wind was blowing pretty good and there were lots of boats zipping around so I stayed closer to shore and tried docks near deep water with jigs.
