Damion Kidd, I'm talking about in Moulton. I struggle in water deeper than 10 feet, especially open water. The first trip I made to Moulton I caught and released 20 Crappie that were all 15 inches or better. I thought game on I found the hidden motherlode.

I didn't catch a single Crappie the next six or eight trips, LOL.

I go there for the huge Gills, if I find the Crappie, they're just a bonus! I returned several Shellcrackers Sunday that were 12 inches and some of the Gills pictured were over 10 inches. I just haven't found anywhere else you can get Gills that large consistently. The largest Gill I've caught in Moulton was 12 inches and weight a pound and a half.
