Fished blackwells Thursday at the bridge and there were plenty of crappie there but they were not biting. Only got one bite. They were holding tight to the Collum’s and between 7-12 feet deep.
I don't hear much about Lake Jordan (near Wetumpka). I'm not doing very well around Blackwell's or Swayback. There was a time when Jordan was a top notch fishery. What do you think?

Not many on here that fish Jordan but it's still a great crappie lake. Fishing has been very slow this year for most people

Years ago ,like.47 coming home from work in Montgomery there was a helluva black.cloud to the north.Heard a guy was fishing under swayback when then tornado hit Blackwell fish camp on the south side of that slough.Supposedly.blew a guys jon boat out from under him and left him hanging from the beams.Went sightseeing a week later and fine ground up debris was drifted against the stumps of trees like snow.Only place green jeans ever checked me twice in one day. Duh?
