    Default blackwell ditch night trip


    hit the ditch at midnight from the bank. picked up bunch of smalls and 10 that kept. pump house was dead but managed a few more in decatur on the way home......

    Have you ever fished the swamp from a boat I have caught some nice ones fishing some of the springs in there

    I have always been to afraid of that big lizard that lives back in there to launch my kayak. ������

    the area where the pump is that runs back into the river. Ive fished the mouth of that ditch from my kayak but not the swamp.

    A friend of mine used to show pics of a 14 foot moster back there near the mouth of the ditch on the swamp side.

    Good catch. I’ve never fished in that area, but it’s gotta hold crappie. That should be a paradise for them.

    There's a big male and female Gator in Blackwell swamp. The female usually has a nest near where the channel leaves Blackwell headed towards the river.
