    Default Another muddy water question

Everything I read on muddy water says find clear water. My question is,if there is an area that is clearer than the rest, will the fish move there or is there just a better chance of catching them if they are already there?

It’s not that simple and you left out the best water color to fish, stained! You can catch fish in muddy water, it’s just harder for the fish to see and/ or smell your bait. Muddy and stained water heat up faster than clear water, pulling the crappie into the shallows to spawn.

Rarely do you see clear water in most river systems

I fish a creek a lot. A few areas clear much quicker than the rest. I just wondered if fish come to these areas as they clear.

I have no confidence in clear water. If I can see my bait, I don’t like it. I have caught fish on guntersville like that but not often

In Chocolate milk if I have to fish it I try to add some rattles to my jig/bait so the fish have something to hone in on and maybe a little scent so they can follow the scent trail, but I prefer not to fish it
