Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay/Creek
I fished Limestone today from daylight till dark parking on the gravel road in the refugee off Pryer Rd. I kept 7 and returned 2 larger Crappie plus a couple dozen shorts. The water was extremely low, I had to wade calf deep in the mud just to launch. All the pits are cut off from the creek, to get in I had to drag. Beautiful day, just not a productive day for catching. The water in the big pit is only 12 inches deep. I didn't bring my fish finder so no information on water temperature.
I'm headed to Indian Creek tomorrow for some single pole on laydowns.

Layed out of work and fished the bay today and water was low, but nothing like before this last rain. Highest temp I seen was 49 degrees. At one time I counted 17 boats in the bay. Might have been more at one point. Fish bit just enough to keep us interested. Put in about 8 hit the trailer at 3, caught 75 total and boxed 60. Fish were scattered, no particular place. I fished all over from above the ramp to down at the creek channel, they were just here, there, and younder. Great day fishing with Family, been awhile since we had crappie fished together. He got me into trolling for crappie years ago. Was nice to catch a pile for him to carry home.
