That sir is a great day of catching. Nothing wrong with staying close and fishing your home ramp. Blue chrome huh...used to fish it and had forgot about it. I need to pick me a pack up.

Reckon I’m getting old. I just can’t make myself get far from home. I got a late start as usual and fished 8 mile today. I probably caught close to 50 fish. But only 3 or 4 keepers. They were in about 16 feet of water and were flat hammering blue chrome. Not much to eat but a fun day of catching.

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
That green mess started about 75 yards from the put in and went all the way to the first bend. Caught them all between put in and where it t started. My knee has been bothering me and was afraid I couldn’t get up the bank so I put in on the other end and paddled up there. Fished some other places all the way back to the truck and caught a few gills.

I need to bring a pickaxe and create some stairs out of that embankment!
You did better than me, I put in at the bridge, paddled down a ways and caught a few bream and and a catfish. Didn't catch a single crappie, did see a bobcat though.
