Thread: Weiss Lake in early April.??

Contemplating a spring trip the first week of April 2022 (school spring break), can’t leave kids behind lol. I’ve been eyeballing Weiss. Some of the air b&b’s are sweet looking. Private ramps and docks are very appealing to me. Pet friendly, WiFi for the kids, lakeside. Sounds nice!! More than likely be in the Cowan or springs creek area-ish. Or at least that’s where I’ve been drawn to so far.

Now I’m looking for ANY possible information for that time frame, usually/normally historically. I understand all factors can’t be predictable. But… What would we be expecting.? Pre spawn? Post spawn? Depth? Spider rig? One pole’n? Brush-piles? Hard lake to fish? Dangers? Any and all information big or small will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can't help you on where or how to fish. Just didn't catch a lot fish. We stayed through Fall break and it was amazing. We booked airbnb with Elise at cedar point or something like that. The house was amazing and it on like 3 acres. The pictures didn't do it justice. It did not have a private ramp but it did have a dock
