Good job, thanks for sharing
Hit the dam up again. Got there about 430. Saw a guy leaving with a jack, so after after 40 minutes fishing for crappie and catching dink, decided to try my luck on Jack's. Ended up with one probably missed a couple others. Could land them on a 1/32 size 4 hook. Put on a 1/16 size 2 and got her. Biggest one I've caught so far. Brought home a couple crappie, but I'm tickled to actually target and catch a jack. Happy hunting yall. Blessings

Sounds like a great morning on the dam

Looks like it may be a good year for those !
I enjoy vertical jigging for them and usually enjoy eating them but for some reason the ones I ate from last winter were real
mushy and very strong tasting !

I've heard several people say they taste better than crappie. They are good but no better. Not fried anyway. By the texture of the meat I'm sure blackened is the way to go. My 2 cents

Glad to see you got out and put a few on ice Joe, congrats.
Good job. I have always wanted to try for the Jacks at the dam.
FYI so no one gets to buy an expensive fish dinner

They won't let you have those fish for dinner. Only the fines.
