Default Kayak report for limestone creek ( pic heavy )

I fished Wednesday from 7 till 3 . Had a good day for crappie and bass . I also had a 4 ft alligator in a tree top that stayed there most of the day. Later in the day he got in the shade and switched to a log that was in the sun. Did not see the big gator. I caught 20 or so crappie close to the mouth of the bay on white marabou jig on my new jig pole. Only caught 1 on little spinner. 4 very small ones out of the pits. Had a couple at 14 inches. All released for another day. Also had about 15 bass with a 5 1/2 ponder and another one close to that size get off at the kayak. Enjoyed seeing the small gator all day.

Wow! The gator population seems to be growing. Great pics.

What did you catch the big bass on?

That’s a great day. You and ditch are killing me. I’m wanting to get down there so bad I can’t stand it. Hopefully things will work in my favor tomorrow and I can get down for a couple hours at least. Congrats.

When y’all say mouth of the bay do you mean right where it comes in off the big main bay or on down where you go left to go up the creek?

When i say the mouth of the bay, i mean where the south entrance to the last pit enters the creek all the way out to where the land ends on the right hand side. Most were in the creek Chanel itself and not around much cover. I learn a little more every time i fish limestone.
