    Default Fishing below Guntersville Dam

If you're considering a trip to fish below the dam, you might want to wait a week or two. Very heavy rain has been "training" through the Paint Rock valley for over 5 hours now. I can't imagine how messed up the river is going to be.

I just saw on the weather that much of the PRV got 10"-12" of rain. Ditto will be rolling...

Those fields down along 72 will be underwater for sure. That's a lot of rain

I went by limestone today and it was up but not the least bit muddy. Just trying to plan a trip tomorrow.

May not get muddy without some muddy water traveling through.

Probably 2-3 days I'd guess. Depends on how many gates they open. I don't figure the Paint Rock has even crested yet. Could be wrong but that's my guess.
