    Default Trolling Rivers

Does anyone push jigs in main rivers? I usually get off in a lake or somewhere out of current. Wondering if I am missing out on fish.

Never tried it. I troll the bays and flats early in the year. There should be some fish out there around the thermocline.

I fish the Coosa River and can only spider rig when there is little or no current. With the current in the river there will not be a thermocline.

On the main river channel on Wheeler the eel grass is floating down the river so bad that I don't know how it would work.
