Bluegills 05/21 - Wheeler Bank Fishing
I couldn’t stand it, I went back to the spot I fished Wednesday but moved about 50 yards or so. I had an itch that needed scratching to go old school back to my roots today with the bream buster pole and a tube of crickets.
I found about a 20 foot area that was loaded with aggressive bedding males. I really have no idea how many fish I caught total today in that one spot, but it has to be roughly 75 or north of that. I kept around 30 or 35 nice sized gills and a bass that wanted a cricket. I’ll post a pic of the full mess tomorrow when I clean them.

Yeah I fooled around here and managed to snag the 20 lb snapper that comes up when I feed the bream on a honeyworm 5 ft deep
She left with a new piece of jewelry in the tip of her lower jaw
