Saturday fished limestone spider rigging jigs from daylight till 12. Caught 42 had 29 keepers. With the overcast sky’s water was 61 degrees. Was a great day on the water. I know for sure a 1 man limit could have been caught. Possibly a 2 man if I could have fished until dark. Gave them to a buddy

Sunday fish mouth of Flint spider rigging jigs from daylight till 10. Caught 18 had 9 keepers. When I first got there I couldn’t find the crappie. I did find the gar and drum. I got tired of that pretty quick and moved areas. Finally started catching a few fish but they were mostly small. I’ve never caught so many 3-4 inch crappie and they were inhaling the jig. I gave what I had to another boat after I rolled up the poles.

I hope the rain this week don’t mess the water up too bad. It’s getting real close to putting the smack down on them.
How far up the Flint did you go to find the Crappie?

I fished the mouth where it lets out into the river last weekend and caught a few white bass.

    Thx

I started in the mouth and worked my way south towards pt mallard. Found them close to north and south banks once I got in 4-5 FOW.

Yea, they are super close there. Caught several between the banks and the timber.
