Default Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay/Creek

I fished Limestone today, kept 22, released half a limit that was over 12 inches including a 15" and 16" Crappie. Dinks were everywhere, I tossed back dozens of short fish. Half came of jig and bobber, the other half spider rigging. Best bait was a Chartreuse Bobby Garland on a 1/32oz jig head fished about 18" deep. The water is down about two or three feet from summer pool. Visibility is about 12 to 18 inches with water temperature of 56 degrees at daylight warming to 60 by the time I left. Hope the warm weather holds!

Thank you for the report. I see often jigs under bobber posts. Do you guys ever use hair jigs under bobber? Or mostly Bobby Garland stuff?

The ramp is good. No dock though. Only thing that sucks is the rough road getting to the ramp lol
