Anyone going in the morning? (Friday 25th) I'm wanting to get out there this year as I've been up here for ~9 yrs. I've tried fishing 2 years around here with both missing the crappie altogether and now the rain is on the way. Any suggestions? Weather isn't a problem for tomorrow as I don't mind rain but would like to know of ideas where to go. I'll be bank fishing btw. Been to the bridge off 431 outside of HSV past the dam near Honeycomb but now luck there yet (probably twice the last month). Be nice to find something closer to home around Athens, AL as well. Thanks fellas! Enjoy the site btw, I check it everyday now.

Sure thing Damion, I don't mind walking. Could stand to do more of it honestly . Plus I enjoy being out there. I talked with Catch a good bit today he was a big help as well! Lemme know and I'll give em a shot or we can meet up and you can show me the ropes haha....Thanks man!
Ok. I’ll holler at you in a couple of weeks. It’ll take that long for the water to go down enough if it rains like it’s supposed to. Catch is a great dude. He’s been a huge help to me as well. I normally fish out of a kayak now but used to fish these places regularly. I still fish them a good bit on after work trips. If you can we can meet up one day when I get off work and I’ll show you around. It’s in the mooresville/greenbrier area.

Might want to try the bridges along Hwy 79 up around Scottsboro. The N Sauty bridge is a favorite of mine for bank fishing.

Hey thanks Bob D, you have a pin on google maps by chance? Not super familiar with that area over that way, although I can just take a guess on bridges I suppose. Kinda what I've done down near the honeycomb area.
