i like the millennium, they just don’t work for me, I need to hold 16 rods... Them Hi teks look good too, that’s very similar to what I had in my head on building myself. I’ve almost got everything together to take a stab at building them. I just need sometime off work and my 10lb lifting restriction gone. That’s up on Thursday. If I don’t like it and can’t make it work the way I want it I will buy from Scott.

Well guys, got them built and put on the boat, I will post some pictures tomorrow. They turned out great in my opinion and I got 42 bucks and 3.5 hours of time in them. Would be less time, but I had a brain fart on the finishing part and had the front holder fitted with the back rod holders Teflon pieces and the front holder fitted with the back holders Teflon pieces lol. The way the versa trac runs in the boat up towards the front it Leans down and bowed inward so the 2 pieces had to be built different to make things line up. All I like is painting them so they won’t rust.

I saw a boat at a ramp that I liked the transport rack. Asked if I could copy it, go ahead. I outlined it on a piece of carboard with a sharpei. Made some adjustments to it.
Can carry 4 rods forward, 4 rods reversed, can adjust space between shelves, have 5 shelves.

They have worked great for me. Only thing I would do different is cut the 1" tubing and sleeve the 1" with 3/4" at the bottom pinned on one side and welded on the other so i could take the top off without having to unbolt it.
