Default Kayak report for limestone creek

I fished Limestone creek yesterday from 7 till 3 . Only caught 3 crappie but one was a 14 1/2" black nose. Also caught a yellow perch. The bass were more than willing despite the gale force winds.Caught 35 plus bass with biggest about 4 lbs. Had several 2 1/2 - 3 lb fish. I was noticing the eye color on some of the fish were yellow instead of the dark blackish color. The winds were really bad even up past the 1 st pit. Very fun day on the water. All fish were released for another day.

Great report, can't wait for the water to warm 10 degrees and the Crappie to start moving in!

So if they move to the pits and then we have a week of really cold weather will they stay or move back out?

They'll stay, the magic is a warm up with higher water.
