How many Amp hours does it draw?
    Lithium for sure.
Dakota and Amped are 2 that I am familiar with.

I've never used this for a depth finder but I use these batteries in my son's 12 volt ride on toys and they last all day compared to the factory battery that last 30-45 minutes. I have had these for about a year and still last.

I use the Dakota lithium 12V 10Ah on my Lowrance. It is light and I have had no issues at all with it.

Let us know how many amps it draws and it will be easier to determine what amp hour battery to use.

If you go to the Amped site they have a chart that answers your question.

Sorry for the late reply. It is 1.1 amp per hour. I went with a 17 amp hour battery. It is a heavy at 7.5 lbs but should be more than enough for all day fishing.
