    Default Rough day

Maybe I'm been out the game too long, maybe it's still early or maybe it just wasn't my day. Fished from 5-11am. Only caught on keeper. I'm gone eat it like it's a steak. Better luck next time. Blessings

I went yesterday and couldn’t buy a bite. I don’t know what happened in the last two weeks but they are not biting like they were.

I don't know where y'all fished but I put in at Siebold creek on Guntersville. Not only is the lake 2' low, the water is as clear as I've seen it. I was sitting in the channel on Siebold creek in 8 FOW and could see rocks on the bottom. I saw one stud crappie under a dock about a foot below the surface but he could see me too. I was 20 feet from him. That makes it tough.

I was at gville dam several days ago and they were sucking the bottom out of that lake. No rain in the past couple weeks and 6 gates were open. Winter draw down ? Thought they didn’t pull the g down

Operating guide says they drop it about 2 feet in the winter.

It's lower than normal fall levels. One spot I fish I could walk on stumps that I normally can catch fish off of. I wonder if it has something to do with that invasive plant they found??

Same here, too. Saturday was a tough bite.

I fished a different lake Saturday and had a good day sounds like the water is very clear on the big g. I use low vis. 4lb line when it's like that, sometimes it helps and sometimes not. Worth a try
