    Default Tonight’s Dinner

Fried, golden deliciousness courtesy of my last trip to Lake Guntersville. Hard to imagine anything that swims tasting better than crappie.

If there’s anything better I’ve never had it.

Crappie is hard to beat, but a buddy told me the smaller spotted bass off smith lake was right up there with them and we caught a few couple weeks ago and be danged if they wasn’t pretty tasty

Crappie are great, no doubt, but Sauger are better IMO. I just can't catch enough keepers to have a complete mess.

I’d agree with the sauger too
