    Default Lamprey

A friend fishing with me this week caught a good crappie with a Boone and Crockett Lamprey on it. The spot on the fish where the Lamprey was attached was as big as a quarter. The Lamprey was 12”-14” long and bigger around than a broom handle.

This is at least the 3rd and maybe the 4th one I've seen on a crappie.

I've saw one. Fell off in the boat. Went to stomp it and it bit my boot like a snake. Nasty creature.

I’m glad I saw this. If one fell off in my kayak I’d make a mess thinking it was a snake.

This one didn't survive the encounter. It got it's head cut off.
