Kayak Trip Report, Bradford Sinks
I returned to Bradford yesterday, tough day again. Kept 11 and returned a dozen or so short fish. I spider rigged most of the day with no luck before changing to single pole with a white Marabou jig. The Crappie are on the edge of Lilly pads, but so are the bass and catfish. I returned a couple dozen bass and 12 or 15 large channel cats plus had a dozen or so fish that broke off. Interesting day, just not a lot of Crappie in the kayak. The water was clear with visibility of about 18 inches and 70 degrees.

I went last Tuesday to limestone. Caught 3 dink crappie and probably 20 bass 6-8 inches. Couldn’t really crappie fish for the little bass. Thanks for the report. Gonna try again somewhere again Tuesday after work.

lowe175,
Don't know if you'll find the same thing on the big water, but Bradford is two holes with a narrow strip connecting them. One is about 10 acres and 10 foot deep. The other is about 25 acres, but only about 6 feet deep with pads growing out from the banks for 100 plus feet almost all the way around. I'm always spider rigging the larger area and once I find the baitfish can fill a cooler. Both open areas are completely void of fish right now. No bait fish or larger fish, zero on the fish finder and zero caught spider rigging. I've never found that before, not sure what was going on?
