I ran back out to Madison County Lake, fish everywhere but bolo from daylight until 10AM spider rigging. I changed over to casting brush piles with a 1 inch slider on a 1/32oz jig head. Left at 12:30PM after returning 3 larger fish and keeping half a limit. The water was 88 degrees at daylight and had warmed to 91 by the time I left. Surprisingly the fish were coming off brush piles in 10 to 15 feet of water, but were only about 6 feet deep.
These are all about 10 inches, not as big as they look, LOL!

I think those 10"ers fry up better anyway!
Perfect eating size! Congrats on another good trip!
WTG and figuring out the pattern for the day. Interesting how they were suspended like that.
Strange with the warmer temps, but consistent at several brush piles. Maybe the shallower fish were the only ones feeding?
