I have thought about it. There’s a couple spots at rock house that I’d love to fish late fall and early winter. Just to far to walk. Interested to see any response.

Any of you guys that fish the refuge backwaters either currently use or have used a bicycle to access? I'd like to know what your setup was if you don't mind. Making rod holders or attaching rods to the bike seems fairly straightforward. Would like to know if you had a trailer rig of any kind for hauling gear like coolers, etc? Don't have a kayak or canoe yet but I'm hoping to remedy that before 2020 is over with. Post any kayak trailer rig tips you've got too.

I've got an old modified child tent bike trailer that I used for bowhunting on Wheeler back in the day. I could use it for sure to haul gear in if it's not rusted or rotted out lol. I'd like to use it to ride back to the I-65 area on the north side and see what I can get into sometime. Do they lock gates at Rockhouse Rd during the winter months?

They lock the gate right at the pump in October to feb.
