Default Suggestions for finding crappie on Weiss???

I've lived on Lake Weiss for a couple of years but haven't had as much time to fish as I'd like because of that 4 letter word - WORK. Now that I'm retired I'd like to get out more and start learning the lake. My goal is to be able to take grandkids out and have a relatively good chance of catching a few fish.

To that end, can you experts give me some suggestions on where to find crappie on Weiss? Also, specifics as far as where to find them on sunny days, cloudy days, morning, afternoon, etc.

    Thanks

Sunny days in the shade/ under docks cloudy days roaming everywhere ! First light and last light is usually best but sometime they bite all day . This time of year they ought to be Getting close to heading back out to deeper water some prolly haven’t spawned yet but majority should have . putting time in on the water is the only real way to figure them out and you have to stay after them because they change up so much . Start out in one area kinda shallow and work out to the deeper they got to be some where! Strike up a conversation with those you meet on the water most folks don’t mind sharing the techniques they use to catch em on ! Good luck

What slabprower said (time on the water) from what little I know of Weiss learning to long line would be a good idea. Then shoot docks after the spawn.
