Thanx for update
Well, I couldn't take it any longer and had to get out of the house for a few hours. Hit the causeway at about 1630 and stayed until 2100. Water had good color and visibility was about 24-30". Caught an interesting mix of fish through the evening. Caught one largemouth that went 16" a spot that went 14" a sauger that went 12" and 5 keeper crappie. Caught most of the fish on a minnow under a cork 3' deep. All the jig fish came off of a pink 1/16th head with a glacier BG baby shad. Out of the 5 fish, 3 were females and still had eggs, the other two were young bucks keeping up with the ladies. Good news is, they're not done yet and still around! I knew it was not going to be a super productive trip with the cold front having come thru the night before, but it was just great to get out and be on the water for awhile. Everyone I talked to only had 3-5 fish as well.

I caught 4 sauger Saturday under 4' water. Biggest was only about 10" but thought it was a little weird. Only ended up with 11 crappie. Guntersville as well.
