I’m with you buddy. I had planned on coming down next Monday but not sure if
It’ll be worth the trip if the water isn’t back to normal by then? They’re calling for descent weather next week.

I would probably change my plans if possible. It's flooded just south of Weiss now. I would guess Weiss will be if it isn't already. Up to 7in on the way later in the week to. I fished yesterday and only found a couple of places that didn't look like chocolate milk.

I haven't seen Weiss in person, but I'd imagine it's like the rest of the water in AL. Too muddy to swim in, a little too thin to walk on.

I live over here in Centre the water is holding its own right now,but a lot of rain coming in the next couple of days it is the color of pure red mud. I would hold off for a couple of weeks.

Lake is high and very muddy. Beagles are running rabbits across the coosa river. I believe I would do as suggested and wait a few weeks!

Man that's crazy! Didn't figure it was that bad since its only 8 inches over summer pool.

It is not anywhere near as bad as it was last year. I haven't seen any docks under water but I have not been all over the lake. The place around my house that were submerged last spring are still dry. It came up a little tuesday but it looks like alabama power is pulling all they can. If we get by the heavy storms predicted for Wed. night we may be ok for a while
