Default Kayak Trip Report, Ditto Landing

I fished Ditto today from 11:00AM till about 3:00PM. Slow day, kept 9 and return a dozen or so short fish. I fished spider rigging 5 poles with 1/16oz White Marabou jigs about 18 inches deep in 3 to 4 feet of water. The water was 49 degrees and clear with visibility of about 12 inches. The fish were scattered feeding on shad with huge bait balls everywhere. All the fish I kept look liked they had swallowed golf balls they were so stuffed with bait.

Not sure why, but one of the coldest days I can remember being on the water, even though the temperate gauge in my truck said 51 degrees.
