Didn’t get to make it! Rode the X mark most the day! But I’m all caught up now!
Things didn't go as planned. I didn't get the boat in the water. Hopefully I can get it wet tomorrow
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along

I made the adventure out and found mine deep still in 15-18 foot. Kept 16 for the guys on the causeway.

I watched the game but no need for a boat. They are tearin em up on the banks at Guntersville. The locals will crowd it about 4am so be ready for that. And God forbid you take a boat. Some of them will curse you out if you fish under the bridges. They act like they own the lake. But good luck.

Well, I got on the river about 10am. Water was 69* and stained. All the sloughs are dingy. Saw some shad activity but not much. Sidescan and 2D showed fish holding to bottom and some just off bottom. Saw bait balls here and there. I had one good bite and it was a gar. I thought about we're on a full moon and that was the coldest morning we have had so far. Bluebird skies and dirty water. I wish I had fished tree tops out on the river now.
Went Sunday am for a quick run caught alot of drinks, and a couple nice slabbies
