Well that cold front put a hurting on them. Got on the water about 1:00 fished a tree full of crappie and didn't get a bite, moved to a second tree full of fish, caught 5 or 6 and the rest wouldn't bite. On to spot 3 and nothing. Spot 4 gave up a couple. I said boys it's going to be a long day. Moved on down the river and stopped on a dock with what looked to be 200 crappie under it and we put on a show for the next hour. Moved on down river to a brush pile and picked a few out of it. Last stop was one more dock that we left them biting on. Got back before dark with 66 in the cooler. Don't know why they want bite on the brush and trees. We could have easily gotten our 90 fish limite today. Color didn't seem to matter, we all used different jigs and caught fish fine.
