Default Limestone creek. No luck Sun. Going again tomorrow. Tips?

I tried out the mouth and bottom half mile of Limestone Creek Sunday. I didn’t have much luck. Clearly I was doing something wrong as I was watching folks pull in fish. I’m going to the store this evening, buy more lures, and try again tomorrow. I’m really looking to catch any type of fish. Is there any lures I should pick up at the store? Any tips you guys can provide?

Crappie should be on cover right now. If you can find some deep brush you should be able to catch a few

To at least catch some fish you might try a white Rooster Tail they will catch anything

I may be the standout in this group, but I always have luck with 1/16oz Marabou Jigs. There also cheap when you leave a dozen stuck in laydowns each trip. I start with white in clear water and Chartreuse when it's muddy.

I caught a few on the other side today from the bank. Caught them on Bobby Garland blue thunder. Fishing a little slew that comes in off the bay. Right in the middle of the mouth of the slew. Under a bobber about 2 and a half feet deep.
