Hey guys in Alabama. Looking to plan a trip in Late October to do some crappie fishing. Looking for lake recommendations, lodging etc. would like to stay in the Northern Alabama area and possibly stay in a house on a lake with a boat dock.
thanks

BamaS lives on a nice lake! I have rented a floating cabin on Lake Guntersville before through the site VRBO. It's a one bedroom cabin with a queen bed, bathroom, small kitchen and living room. You can fish right off the front porch and dock your boat right next to the cabin. There are some fish attracters in front of the cabin off the corners. I placed them there a few years ago and they produced some nice Crappie.
BamaS place is niceM
VRBO is your friend on finding a good place to stay as far as the fishing goes it will depend on the weather !
End of October is usually great fishing if it cools off like normal !
Weiss should be pretty good by then. Fishing river ledges and maybe some long lining. Little river Marina has nice rooms and is right on the lake. Bill has bait and covered boat slips and also a resturant that serves breakfast and lunch. If you want to spend some money check out Yellow Creek Villas nice accomodations but you will pay for them.
If u want to shoot some docks you can pm me and I’ll be more then happy to put u on crappie here on Neely , the dock here should be loaded

2016 Lowe st 175 merc 60 4 stroke, helix 9 si / helix 9, terrova us2 with link, drift master rod holders . I fish because the voices in my tackle box tell me to, and who am i to argue
All lakes should be good by then but I would recommend bamas place, it's very nice and you might get him to guide you also. Lake Martin is a great lake for eating size fish but if you're looking for big fish go to guntervill or Nelly Henry.
