Hows the crank bite at G in July? Ive never pulled cranks at guntersville and plan on making the trip from Ky to try it out in a few weeks. Any words of wisdom?

Get ready to be aggravated by the floating grass. Other than that, there are fish to be caught. For the past couple years I have caught a limit on 4th of July in 2-3 hours.

I believe that is eyes and ears waiting for my response to the question...
They will favor both. I typically like some type of edge but catch several in different flats on Gville. Just look for suspended fish on the graph. Not typically looking for big school just scattered fish.

Yes, many times. And they are usually not dinks. And most of my limits get returned to the water once I make sure they are going to live.
