I think about 48inches long with sides I think it was a total of 50/51 inches.

A few friends and I are going up to South Sauty next weekend to fish. We are thinking about making one of the bridge anchor type devices that wedges between the gaps in the under part of the bridge to hold the boat steady.
Does anyone know how long to make the wood piece that sets up inside the bottom part of the bridge? Thanks.
Anyone been doing any good up that way?

Love, what more can I say
South sauty bridge is 65” would be wise to use bungee cords to tie to boards because of weekend boat traffic !
Great thanks guys. We were thinking about using springs. You think bungee cords would be better?
Either would work as long as you have something to help cut down on the bounce . It Will make your trip more enjoyable!
Guys do me a big favor and take a picture of this set up and post it on here. I would love to see how you rig this up. Down here on Wheeler in the Decatur area any way we don't seem to have many bridges that are that good for crappie fishing.
