Heard the sirenes knew one was close thanks for the heads up!
If you know anybody that's fishing at Guntersville, particularly around the Town Creek area, please check on them. According to the local weather there is a confirmed tornado on the ground and it's headed straight up Hwy 227.

One of our guys from the shop lives on the mountain, straight up above the sand bar at Town Creek. He sent me a picture of the tornado. He said it came up the bluff from the river. I'll post a pic later. That would have put the tornado very close to the bridge and boat ramp.

That area was hit pretty hard not too long ago. I hope everyone is safe as there is probably a bunch of campers down there right now.
It was between Town Creek and Short Creek. Very close to the State Park and yes that area has been hit several times in the past 10 years. There are some paths through here that seem to be very conducive for tornado development. Unfortunately our farm is in one of those paths. Just a few days over a year ago one came through our farm. The guy that lives in Asbury has had them close to him 3 times in the past 5 years.
One time ! I could understand hanging around 2 times or more I’m getting the heck out of dodge! Moving to higher grounds !

Well he and I are both in the same boat. We both live on the farms we grew up on. It’s not quite as easy to move off from those places. We moved to the farm in 1978. The tornado that hit our farm last year was the 2nd one to make a direct hit on the house and buildings at our place since we moved there. It was the 7th one to touch down on the road we live on since we’ve lived there. We just try to stay prayed up.
Hope you guys stay safe up there!
