    Default Thursday this week???

Ok guys I'm wondering if it's worth burning a vacation day this week on Thursday and giving it a try. I'm thinking about taking the kayak out to Limestone Creek since the boat is in the shop having a power pack replaced. My big concerns are the cold weather and the water color/height. What are yall's thoughts?

Friday and forward would probably be better days. I would not burn a vacation day for Thursday. Just my 2 cents

More rain Friday and Saturday. I am not sure what would be terribly wrong with Thursday myself, especially if the sun shines the next few days. I would think Thursday afternoon could have some potential.

I was kind of thinking the same thing...looks like the temps will pick up a bit on Thursday and we are expecting more rain right after Thursday. I just hope the water isn't still really muddy and high.

Muddy and high water wouldn’t deter me. I am getting weaker in my older age as far as cold. I got dressed Friday to go for a quick trip. The weather channel showed 48* no wind. I got the garage door open and stepped out. It was misting and damp. 48 felt like 28* so I went back to bed. On second shift that week so I had about 4-5 hours to kill and fishing didn’t interest me like Netflix did. I felt real good about catching a few but they’ll be there next time. But muddy water never deters me. High water( this particular area) during winter drawdown can be good.

Gonna be 55 and sunny with a 7 mph SSE wind water mark at 552. I ain't seen a day like that since November.

I think it would be okay for Thursday. A little bit of color will warm up better than clear water too, especially in Limestone.

shows 551.88 right now but really does not jive with the water level around Decatur... Not sure how this level is determined as during floods I cant make any sense of it.
