    Default so guys...... the ultrex

sat up in 15-20 mph gusts last night . kept me in a tight area i was able to cast into wind for three hrs without reseting trolling motor . if your asking yourself is it worth it. yes sir , it is the bomb....... plus its much more efficient on battery use. i was in whitecaps at times yesterday , the guy with me couldnt believe how good it worked.

Yep....good motors....I guess that's what I will get whenever I wear out my gen 1 Terrova. It's been working good for 8 years now....no problems.

I can attest to this same thing. Best $$I ever spent on fishing. I've held on the gas rigs in mobile bay in unreal conditions. It's all you need to long line to

I've got the Ulterra and I'd image they both share the same technology regarding spot lock and other things.

Saturday my son and I were fishing the head of a creek. Boat was sitting just past the last series of rocks, where the whitewater stopped and the creek started. We pulled in there and I hit the spot lock. We sat there for 2 hours fishing and I don't think the boat moved more than a foot the whole time. I've got a 24 volt, 80lb thrust and the motor stayed on 7-8 for the whole time. Without that spot lock technology there is no way I could have sat there that long fishing. I would have been worn out and mad from driving the trolling motor. It was a great 2 hours too. We wore out some good Spotted Bass.
