Default Suggestions for Big Bear or Wilson??? Help!

Have fished Wilson and Big Bear on Pickwick about 5 times now longline 10-30 ft if water. I’m no good at catching them but I’ve fished pretty hard on these trips and only have about 10 fish total to show for it. I usually don’t get skunked this bad! Even shot docks on bear last time I went to no avail. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

Yeah you would need a claw hammer to pry any information out of some of them

I was gonna ask if you meant the fish or the fisherman were tight lipped? Suggestions for Big Bear or Wilson??? Help!Suggestions for Big Bear or Wilson??? Help!. I’m mostly just wondering if the fish are super shallow? I’d like to catch a mess to eat. Think me and my dad May try cedar or little bear Saturday if the weather will let us.

If your fishing Wilson you’re going to have to fish deep water you can try around shoals creek bridge you can usually catch a few there. If your going to Big Bear (Rose Trail) try pulling curly tail jigs in Auro Springs or Airplane Hollow they should be in there in around 5 or 6 foot of water.

Thanks Javelin! I had already almost decided the fish must be much shallower than I usually fish at this point in the year. Never tried under the bridge but I could see how that would hold dis deep over those old bridge supports. Would love to figure Shoals creek out better since is is so close to the house.

Yep I was thinking you was a little deep for this time of year. Don't know anything about big bear but they should be shallow everywhere now
