We caught 26 this afternoon. Started fishing at 5:00 or so. We fished about 15 minutes before we caught one and then had 15 in the livewell within about 30 minutes. Then they stopped for nearly and hour and we caught the rest right before dark. Smallest fish was 10 1/2� and that was the only fish under 12� that we caught. A handful at 14�. We caught those pulling jigs in 4-5 FOW over grass. As we were leaving I scanned the deeper area 8-12 FOW. There were fish everywhere. Those would be good spider rigging fish.

Town creek is where we fished today

As much as I wanted to be there I doubt that I'll make it. Saturday is my son's birthday and we'll have the granddaughters too. Something might change and give me a short window but not counting on it. Y'all enjoy!

You boys going over today be safe. Weather is calling for high winds today beginning around noon. If any of you going have never been on Big G 15 to 25 SE wind will make it very dangerous. My advice is get there, get settled in, fellowship with other CDC guys and wait for tomorrow and sat. Those days are going to be good according to Fake Weather!

Coach I fished until about 11:30. There were whitecaps in the slough I was fishing in. Like normal it got rough in a hurry. That wind blowing straight up the river will most definitely be make bad ju ju
