    Yes
    Scared me. I tried to step on it and bit my boot like a snake. My fishes leech was black.

    Not a crappie but a bream, I think I didn't eat fish for several months after that. Naw I lying maybe a month. LolAnyone?

    That’s a freshwater lamprey, probably a southern brook lamprey.

    Wow, I didn't realize they were that common. I have fished a long time and that's the first one I have caught.

    Have caught many with a parasite in them but none with a leach! Usually cut the blood spot out of the meat and keep the rest!

    Have caught several over the years in the Tenn River that had lampreys on them.
