    [QUOTE=Barnettcrew;3767676]1. Off work
    2. No lightning
    3. No ice on the ramps

    If those 3 line up for me, I’ll go.

    Lightening makes it a no go for me :aluminum boat highest point on water, graphite rods= lightening rod The bank just as bad bridge all metal and concrete and using graphite rod and usually standing in water . Other than that its a go. Wind is the biggest thing to cost you fish but you need to have a lee side spot hopefully. Coves work good if you can safely cross the white caps!!And the more clouds and rain the better. As a side note sadly the end of another Deer season is almost here and all the mighty hunters will now desend upon the lake banks and in boats thinking they own the spots we fishermen have been using all fall and winter trying to make up for time and fish lost and get in every ones way. Wish the season went from September to May

    I like to watch the pressure. If it’s between 30 and 31 and I’m free, I’m going.
