I 1000% agree with Fur on the Guntersville Tackle Outdoors! Their minnow's are very reasonable in price and amazing quality. I have bought gas station minnows and had them die within a hour of getting them while the water was cool and had air pumping on them. The ones from Guntersville Tackle Outdoors have went hours without air and have survived for almost a week with air and kept cool.

If you're out in the state park area the bridge at Town Creek is hard to beat in that area.

Awesome! I will definitely be over to check out the bridge in town creek. I’ve got my crappie poles out with 2lbs test and BG’s rigged in my favorite color with one minnow pole to cast. Can’t wait.

I have recently heard of these bank fishing areas. I will be checking them out this march when I have finished the radiation treatments. Beach Creek Causeway, Browns, Stockton, 227 and the New Hope side of the dam are supposed to be good bank fishing areas.

Be prepared for a fight with 2lb test line! I normally use 4lb test because of the monsters I’ve caught in Guntersville FYI

Ship, you sent me a PM asking about handicap accessible fishing places, so I thought I'd respond to your post. None of these areas that are being talked about are easily accessible. At best all of these areas involve walking down large limestone rock piles to get to the water . Most also involve climbing over a guard rail. Not trying to talk you out of coming up, just letting you know what you'll find when you get there.

The fishing pier off Sunset Trail Dr is wheelchair accessible. They have a ramp going down to it. Google Maps It's probably the best area to get you out over the water with a good area to fish with a wheelchair.

Well, Friday just before the rain, people were catching limits at Town Creek. Saturday the bite was very slow for most. Today thru Friday night should be great! I'm actually going to another lake Friday at 5am. I'll let you know how we do.

431 or Town Creek is killer right now. However, if you drive passed TC about 8 miles, you can fish South Sauty, which is doing pretty good.

    Good luck and tight lines!

Thank FurFlyin and Bamafan 2277 for your response my friends. How difficult is it to get to the fishing pier on Sunset Trail? Neither my pastor or I walk very far without having to rest. You can PM an address near there that I can put in my GPS or addresses of other flat land or fishing handicapped piers you know of. I took this photo from google maps as an indicator of the type we are looking for. The pier looks great. Thanks. Mike
