    Default TVA plumber?

I think the plumber at the G'ville dam forgot where he put the stopper for the drain at the dam. The pier at Browns creek was about 3 1/2 feet above the deck of the boat this afternoon.

I wish they would stop. Ready for Pickwick to get right. They did some flooding below the dam. Time to pinch them back.

D, I don't know what they're thinking. We're supposed to get a little rain tonight and tomorrow morning, but not much. Then it's the weekend before they have any more in the forecast. They were still letting it rip this afternoon. A ton of current headed downstream.

TVA is notorious for messing things up. You should know that by now. Your tax dollars at work!

Not sure they still do it for this reason but they started what they called a winter draw down years ago to help control the weeds/ milfoil .The theory was to get the water very low to expose more weed so that when freezing temps came it would be exposed in shallow enough water to kill it. It seemed to work but only killed it from about the top down to about a foot or 2 under the water but did not kill it at the roots so it always comes back. Only chemicals kill it out right. Right now the mil-foil/Hydrilla where I fish have about been replaced by this curse called eel or ribbon grass. Not sure what bright individual put that in the lake but its a mess now.

Yeah that eel grass is a mess. I forgot that they pulled it down low last winter too. I guess they just haven’t been able to do that this year
