Whats wrong with just anchoring down with two anchors ?
Thanks. Those look cool. Those will work if I can reach the bridge (like South Sauty) but for the beams that are 15 ft in the air I'd need a board and to know how long to cut it.
I mainly fish 431 / 69 / Town Creek / Short Creek / South Sauty
Most of the time I'm on the banks though. But when I get up with someone with a boat and want to go night fishing, we never have what we need to tie off sometimes. I just wish someone would make like a draft cheat sheet for newcomers to go by for all bridges. That would be sweet!

I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Only negative with anchors is the fish can get wrapped up around the anchor lines and when the water is 30'+ deep like at town creek you move around a lot more than you would if you tied up to the beams.
Plus there is a good bit of stuff at the bottom of bridges most of the time to get the anchor stuck on. And there is a lot of bouncing going on under these bridges at times.

Don't know if this will help, but I bought two of these "Branch Grippers"
(Model BRGPB) from " Catfish Connection" and replaced the string with
paracord. They work well on brush and tree branches and I would think
that if you dip the tips in FlexSeal liquid rubber, they would work on metal
as well. They work great for us up here on Rend & Shelbyville in Illinois.
