John Doe yo man
New to the area and heading to eufala tomorrow to try my luck. Used to crappie fishing standing timber at truman lake so this will be a new experience. Plan on spider rigging unless someone talks me out of it. Any pointers on where to start?

Plenty of submerged timber and brushpiles all over the lake. The Georgia guys push poles and catch plenty of fish. Eufaula is a great place to fish. You just have to depend on your electronics alot. Once you find them they usually bite good.
I fished it Nov 17th-18th and caught 71. Saturday I couldn't find clear water and caught 2 on the south end of the lake. Sunday I went to Lakepoint (Cowikee creek) and caught 67 once I found some better water.
I appreciate the info. I put in toward the south end on Saturday and didn't catch a single fish. Should've headed north I suppose.
Probably so. There was a lot of trash floating down when I left Sunday. I'm going back over in id December. I hope they are still biting.
Try finding brush piles, mouth of creeks, under bridges you should find them.
