    Yayboy I was also fishing Cotaco creek Fri and I saw one gator myself,was that you I talked to who said they had seen two?I was in my Alumacraft flat bottom down near the first creek up from the river

    Max: Glad you got out. Fishing will get better. Excellent "rare" gator sighting in Northern AL! Will see you on the water soon.

    It's always cool to see a gator in our area. I fish from a kayak. I've never seen gators in Cotaco, but I've only been in there a couple of times. I do see them pretty often around Limestone Bay, Blackwell Swamp, and Beaverdam.

    Too bad about the lack of fish though.

    Me and my dad fish that creek sometimes too. I will be going down there in 2 weeks and we will probably be bank fishing it at least 1 afternoon. We bank fish off the ramp at Sharp Ford Rd.
