Lol! I always just say I fell asleep, but I just can't do that "this is my last cast" statement hahahaha
I've never really tried night fishing in the creeks, all of my night fishing has been at the bridges or fishing the dock lights.
If you night fish Cotaco again, please post a report or DM me. I've always been curious of how night fishing with a light would work out there, i just have never done it!

HEY EVERYBODY !! new to the forum but not crappie! let me know when your gonna give cotaco a try. I've also been contemplating trying it at night with some lights, maybe we could tag team it and find em
No definite plans yet, but as soon as I can get my work schedule to allow it, I’d like to give it a shot. Most likely on a Friday night. I’ll try to give as much of a heads up as I can.

I night fish on a 530 acre lake in north al. Went three weeks ago, brought home 27 and threw back nearly that many that were too small. Nice and quiet, only boat on the water that night.
Not to steal a thread, but what type lights is everyone using for night fishing to draw the fish in?
I’ve got a green LED submersible light that I got on Amazon for about $20. I actually have/had 2 of them because I was certain that one wouldn’t be bright enough. I was wrong. One is fine. I have no idea what “name “ they are but you don’t need a $100+ light to do what you want to do. I couldn’t have bought the materials to make one for what I paid for these.
