    When you say bridge by the Church I think of the old city lake...it has a bridge by the church.

    I let the jig fall to the bottom, raise the rod tip a couple feet and let the jig fall back to the bottom. Most fish are picking it up on the fall, the next rod lift ends up hooking the fish.

    This lake has a hard rock bottom with some grass growing out to a depth of 10 to 15 feet. The grass is very thin and only grows about 6 to 12 inches off the bottom. I'm fishing the edge where the grass ends in the deeper water.

    Ditch basser you put ur kayak below the dam my buddy went today and told me that the gate was lock.. So he put in at the church.. And paddle down stream..
