I’m sorry ! I have fell off the wagon in a big way ! I mean totally lost it! Let me try to explain why! I promise to get back on the right path once’s the weather cooperates or at least by the 9th of August in Enid Mississippi ! The wind has been terrible on my lake and we haven’t had much current and we have tons of loose grass everywhere . it’s very hard to get a light jig down to the depth needed to catch the crappies . those that I found last week in 10’ or less has disappeared and with the grass everywhere you can’t spider rig, pull or push cranks without cleaning baits every 5 mins or less! So I have switched to baits that the grass don’t effect and can fish it on the banks that are protected from the high winds the problem with this is that this is the only type fish that I been able to catch!

Oh no! Mitchell has gone over to the dark side!!! LOL

Mitch, remember, if I live through rebuilding my back deck, in the heat of summer, me you and Fur lite have a crank pushing date.

I built this whole house with the help of my dad, 11 years ago, in about 10 months. Eleven years later it's taken me 6 days just to rebuild the back deck and I'm not done yet! We have had a few rain delays. I got one set of steps cut and installed yesterday. We've got revival starting today through Wednesday so I won't get anythng else done until late week.

Eleven years sure makes a lot of difference on a body, and none of it's improved!

The only positive thing I can think of, for this whole experience, is that Yellawood honored their warranty on my original faulty treated lumber.

With all the water fleas out there this is a good time of year to get some of those projects done. I have not gone very much myself but hope to get a short trip in soon.
